
Editor in Chief:
Justin Kim
Justin Kim is a junior in the Neuroscience department, minoring in both Global Health and East Asian Studies. Previously serving as the youngest member of the previous PURJ executive board as the Director of Outreach, he is now in charge of overseeing all aspects of the journal, guaranteeing the paper’s quality, continuity, and long-term vision. He is committed to strengthening undergraduate research visibility on campus and ensuring that the journal continues to grow as a platform for student scholarship.

Director of Operations:
Brianna Suliguin
Brianna Melanie Suliguin is a junior in the Ecology and Evolutionary Biology department, while also obtaining a minor in Korean Language & Culture. She has previously served on the PURJ Peer Review Board, reviewing the journal’s incoming papers for publication. She is currently the Director of Operations, managing the workflow of the PURJ team and connecting with campus departments and faculty.

Managing Editor of Peer Review:
Bethany Suliguin
Bethany Mariel Suliguin is a junior in the Ecology and Evolutionary Biology Department on the pre-medical track with a minor in Music Cognition. Before becoming the Managing Editor of Peer Review, she was a member of the Peer Review Board. Bethany has several years of research experience, conducting research in fields including cancer biology, environmental science, public health. Currently, Bethany is conducting her senior thesis research on the evolutionary mechanisms driving antimicrobial resistance in the gut microbiota.

Managing Editor of Content:
Jason Fan
Jason is a sophomore studying molecular biology. He currently serves as the Managing Editor of Content, where he oversees the development of original journalistic pieces and helps shape the publication’s storytelling direction. Before stepping into this role, he was involved in the organization as a contributor to editorial projects. Jason has a long-standing passion for creative writing and is excited to bring that interest into the journal’s work this year.

Director of Design and Outreach:
Mary Shim
Mary Shim serves as the Director of Content & Design for the Princeton Undergraduate Research Journal, overseeing editorial strategy, article development, and layout for publications. She coordinates with authors to refine manuscripts, guides visual production, and ensures high-quality presentation of student research. Previously, she served on PURJ’s Peer Editorial Board, where she evaluated submissions and provided detailed developmental feedback to authors.
